Who Should Participate

Any staff person is welcome to participate- there are no prerequisites for taking this course. It is helpful if students have been exposed to college statistics (one class). The Ground School section of this program is designed to refresh everyone's knowledge of statistics. Both service and manufacturing-type companies can benefit from six sigma training.

Program Overview

Six Sigma Green Belts are an important component to any successful Six Sigma program. In addition to supporting projects and Six Sigma Black Belts, Six Sigma Green Belts can lead their own projects, thereby increasing the financial success of the entire Six Sigma program. PDS's certificate program is rigorous, uses Minitab as a teaching aid, and leads to a certificate as a six sigma green belt.
